Digital Millennium Copyright Act Policy

Last updated: 4 November 2026

NameWishes respects copyright and other intellectual-property rights. If you own rights in material appearing on this website, or are authorized to act for the owner, you can contact us to request a review.

Send a copyright report

Email contact@namewishes.com with the subject Copyright report. Please include:

  • Your full name, contact email and, for a formal notice, postal address and telephone number.

  • The copyrighted work you believe is affected, with a link or other information that identifies it.

  • The exact NameWishes URL of each item you want reviewed, and enough detail to locate the material.

  • An explanation of your ownership or authority to act for the rights holder.

  • A statement that you believe in good faith that the disputed use is not authorized by the rights holder, their representative or the law.

  • For a formal DMCA notice, a statement that the information is accurate and, under penalty of perjury, that you are authorized to act for the owner of the exclusive right concerned.

  • Your physical or electronic signature. Typing your full name can serve as an electronic signature.

What happens after a report

We review reports and may request clarification, remove material or restrict access while investigating. A report should identify the particular work and location rather than request removal of an entire category without explanation.

We may share relevant parts of a complaint with the person who supplied the disputed material so they can understand and respond to the claim. Do not include unnecessary sensitive information. We may restrict repeat infringement or misuse of the reporting process.

If your material was removed

If you believe material was removed by mistake, reply to the removal communication or email us with the affected URL and evidence supporting your rights or permission to use it. Where the DMCA counter-notification process applies, we will provide the applicable submission details. Sending an ordinary objection email is not automatically a valid statutory counter-notification, and restoration is not guaranteed.

Other concerns

For a photo used without your permission, a privacy concern or a misleading use of your name or likeness, contact us even if your concern is not a copyright claim. Include the exact page URL and explain the issue. See our Privacy Policy for privacy requests.

Rights in templates and greetings

Template artwork, fonts, photographs, music and logos may have different owners. Being available for personalization does not mean a work is in the public domain or licensed for resale. See our Terms of Use for permitted use of the service.
